Château de Chantilly, June 18, 2025 – On Friday, June 13, Hinke de Jong, founder and owner of Brouzje and Champagne Travel, was officially inaugurated as a Dame Chevalier (Knight) of the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne (OCC). The ceremony took place during the exclusive Grand Chapitre de la Fleur de Vigne gala, held at the iconic Château de Chantilly.
Hinke was nominated for this prestigious honor by Champagne house Joseph Perrier. Benjamin Fourmon, President and CEO of Joseph Perrier and dignitary of the OCC, personally addressed her during the ceremony: “Dear Hinke, you are a great example of entrepreneurship and business. Your love for Champagne and your sparkling life brings you today to Reims and Château de Chantilly, to become Dame Chevalier à l’Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne. This is not only a recognition of your individual achievement, but also a tribute to your contribution to our culture and economy. Thank you, and welcome to l’Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne.”

Hinke first visited the Champagne region in 2007 and was immediately captivated by its magic. Four years later, she founded Brouzje | Champagne, a company focused on the import, sales, and promotion of exclusive champagne producers and renowned houses. In 2016, she was appointed Champagne Ambassador by the Comité Champagne. That same year, she launched her second company, Champagne Travel, which organizes trips to the region for enthusiasts, professionals, and businesses from around the world.
She travels to Champagne throughout the year. She maintains close relationships with producers and tourism partners and is an active ambassador for the region. She organizes tastings, leads masterclasses, and takes clients to unique cellars, vineyards, and UNESCO World Heritage sites. About the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne
The OCC is an exclusive guild of individuals and champagne houses dedicated to the promotion of Champagne and its unique wines. Founded in 1656 by courtiers of King Louis XIV, it is one of the oldest bacchanalian orders in France. The OCC hosts around fifteen official gatherings (called chapitres) each year, with the annual gala dinner at Château de Chantilly being one of its most prestigious events.
