Over the course of four days, you will gain a deeper understanding of Champagne and the world’s most renowned sparkling wine. Enjoy unforgettable champagne moments and fully immerse yourself in all that this enchanting region has to offer. We travel with a group of maximum 20 people. This champagne trip is the ideal way to get to know the region better!

Visit to champagne producers

Meet a variety of unique champagne producers. Each visit during this trip has a different focus, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of Champagne. The guided tours, conducted in English, offer insights into the entire champagne production process in an informal and engaging manner. You’ll definitely experience the passion of small producers.

Visit to famous champagne houses

Experience the elegance and grandeur of the world-famous champagne houses. After following a comprehensive tour, you will taste a selection of their champagnes. The tasting offers a distinct contrast to the intimate visits with small producers. This visit provides a great understanding of the scale and craftsmanship behind these prestigious maisons.

Culinary lunches, dinners and champagne bars

This tour offers exceptional gastronomy, including local lunches and dinners, all accompanied by champagne and carefully selected wines. Additionally, multiple tastings are arranged throughout the itinerary, ensuring you fully experience the diversity of champagne.

Epernay and Avenue de Champagne

Epernay is located at the heart of the Champagne region. The city best known for the famous Avenue de Champagne, which is home to some of the most prestigious champagne houses. Beneath this elegant boulevard, kilometers of cellars store millions of bottles, patiently aging to perfection. Epernay is a charming and lively town, perfect for exploring at your own pace. In the small centre there are a number of excellent delicatessen shops.

Activities and experiences

Beyond visiting champagne producers, enjoying tastings, and indulging in fine dining, this trip also includes special activities such as the spectacular art of sabrage. You will explore the unique terroir of Champagne and visit the historic monastic village of Dom Pérignon.

Hotel

We stay at Hotel de Champagne, a well-located three-star hotel in Epernay. It’s an ideal base for all visits and activities in the region.

Transport

You will travel to Champagne with your own transportation and meet us at the hotel on Sunday afternoon for the start of the group trip. Local transport is arranged for the visits on Monday and Tuesday, while the visits on Sunday and Wednesday are within walking distance from the hotel.

If you wish we can also arrange transfers from the airport Charles de Gaulle, Paris or local stations.

Champagne Course

Reims and the Notre Dame

Reims is the historic city of the Champagne region, known for its rich heritage and stunning Notre-Dame Cathedral. We will visit this 800-year-old cathedral, which has been the site of royal coronations and continues to host European heads of state.
