The splendid Palais du Tau can also be found in Reims. This archiepiscopal palace has been on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1991, just like the Notre Dame Cathedral. Its construction dates from the 15th century; it was built between 1498 and 1509 and later partially reconstructed in 1675. The French kings who were crowned in the cathedral in Reims stayed in this palace during the coronation festivities. In short, definitely worth a visit to see this historic place!
